@anokasion anyway i thought about it and realized that having a repository means hosting your thing on a different site than having it on github or the like

i have a very newbish question. i'm trying to add application repositories on fedora and to download the rpms in them without installing the appimage, snap, tarball, apt, etc. basically the rpm is much smaller than the appimage so i want to add the repository for this app. i'd rather deal with a host of sources and have a native package than a flatpak. heres an example of a package where i want to add the rpm (without just installing the most recent one in a way it wont be updated when the system updates) https://github.com/readest/readest
