most hindus who try western spiritual outreach along with many new age types who take after Indian religions consider Jesus to be like the buddha, a great ("ascended") master but not a full-fledged avatara like Krishna. to them I ask, why did Jesus choose to suffer on the cross if he was just a great yogi, alike in pain and pleasure and capable of withdrawing the senses like a turtle its limbs? his suffering must have had a greater purpose, like the establishment of religion which is a primary purpose of an avatara.

I could never accept papal infallibility if I were a church that wanted communion with the catholic church. supremacy sure but not infallibility. popes aren't prophets or yogis after all.

Big Tech is at it again.

Some of you might have seen this already. Google has announced a new policy for Android app developers, which would require them to seek Google’s permission if they want to distribute their apps outside of the Google Play Store (on their own website or on alternative app stores). This would entail:

1) agreeing to their terms and conditions
2) paying a fee
3) uploading a government ID

Which is wrong on so many levels. Nobody should be forced to register with Google if they don’t want to use their services.

In doing so they would be extending their gatekeeping (tentacles) into distribution channels where they’re just not a legitimate authority.

At Vivaldi, we believe you have the right to run whatever software you want on a device you own. That’s why we’ve co-signed this open letter, together with other 53 organisations, requesting Google to back off on the proposed policy before it enters into force.

Gods hate is finite while His love is beyond all numbering. God is (beyond uncountably) infinitely good and loves (beyond uncountably) infinitely, while beings dependent on God have finite egos and finite sins, and thus God hates terrible sinners while loving them beyond countlessly more. an evil cosmic dual to God will never exist, so hatred beyond all numbering will never exist. this is ontologically true: God is God, the Lord of Love, the Full and Complete one, not full of hatred. cultivate bodhicitta and realize him in your circumcized heart!
