when are the same afrocentric people who say jesus was black going to pick up on Krishna, whose name literally means "black" in reference to his dark skin color like a monsoon cloud?

I really think the kali yuga will end much earlier than the puranic account. the puranas are not great chronologies

the Mahabharata and the bhagavata purana contradict eachother in ways and I'm always inclined to trust the mahabharata

most hindus who try western spiritual outreach along with many new age types who take after Indian religions consider Jesus to be like the buddha, a great ("ascended") master but not a full-fledged avatara like Krishna. to them I ask, why did Jesus choose to suffer on the cross if he was just a great yogi, alike in pain and pleasure and capable of withdrawing the senses like a turtle its limbs? his suffering must have had a greater purpose, like the establishment of religion which is a primary purpose of an avatara.
