at least macbook airs have a replaceable (though not user replacable -_-) battery which is my primary concern. hopefully my next laptop after this will be a framework with coreboot and IME disabled, unless I get addicted to making musing on macos.

also I'm not a PC gamer or a serious programmer and framework seems geared toward that. I'd rather have a separate computer for gayming if I ever become one (in which case it will truly be so over)

honestly I quite like that a macbook air would force me to use one distro and strongly encourage me to use one DE. I like fedora already and KDE is aight, I didnt like it last time I used it but i love its ecosystem and I'd like to be better acquainted with it. distro hopping is such a pain...

if the framework had coreboot and a disabled IME I'd get it tbh but its asahi for me instead for now. hopefully ill get it soon!
