it bothers me that people cite Lord Rama's example to say that incarnations of God can be *much* more mediocre than they really are. God takes on maya to exalt us while not diminishing His complete freedom, while "God-men" are enmeshed in maya because they aren't God (any more than any other being is)

the truth is saying i've conquered lust because i have never experienced orgasm and don't seek it out (at least while awake) is like saying a child has conquered lust for the same reason except more wrong. i'm no brahmacharya but i hope to be one day

i feel borderline like i've conquered the desire for sex as an interpersonal act until i go to a concert and see women, and i likewise feel like i've conquered the desire for sex as a form of carnal pleasure until i start having sex pleasure-seeking dreams out of nowhere.

doggy news! her kidney and liver levels are elevated but thats nothing new, the reason shes been throwing up dark sludgy stuff is theres a bunch of it in her gallbladder (they found it on ultrasound). its a good thing we took her in or she'd need her gallbladder removed (and whether she'd survive that surgery is questionable) because the stuff in her gallbladder would become painful stones. we have her on new pills to break up the "sludge" and also an anti-emetic so she might stop throwing it up.

i think my little dog is dying -.- shes almost sixteen and keeps throwing up this dark brown sludge. were taking her in to the vet soon
