Looked up a resource for buying homes in Japan, partly because my company is becoming more and more intermingled with the Japanese, and it's made me hate the U.S. even more.
There are NICE homes over there, some in nice places, that can cost anywhere from 3K-20K. We (royal) are such an over financialized shithole that once you escape the western markets keeping a roof over your head gets a lot easier.
Deciding that our entire economy would hinge on real estate prices was a decision that makes me want to become a serial killer who targets asset managers and investment firms.
