in my experience, people opposed to swearing are also not very open about their evil intentions and therefore creating pits full of hate you only notice once you're deeply in it. I prefer people being openly hateful.

german food is a horrible mock up of french cuisine mostly. but it's still not the bottom line, in fact it's not even halfway there! there's still british, dutch, danish and scandinavian food, each stage getting worse. someone on fedi once posted a map of european food separated into "good" "decent" and "disgusting" from south to north
