@nyx i have one of his books, evoking eternity in my digital collection, in part cause it's such a meme demonolatry book. it's wild to me he used to be published by ixaxaar and now he's a total showman hack

@nyx @nerthos it started with a file hierarchy but i had autistic fits about what folder is best with overlaps. hopefully the tagging will get richer when i actually read the books too

@hakui @nerthos @nyx yeah but you have to wade through shit. i am only going to include books with like, at least 3.8 on goodreads

@hakui @nerthos @nyx actually occult goodreads is very discriminating because it's niche, i also check amazon comments and i generally have a good sense for what's good, ofc i've erred on the side of downloading more so i'll have to root out the cringe later esp in more pop wiccaey subjects. i have the GoM books even though only like four are prolly worth having and they're pretty pleb but a lot of people look for them and they have a lot of testimonials so wcyd
i have gotten much more comprehensive coverage of (genuine) eastern stuff lately but i definitely have ways to go, thatls partly why i wanna open up to see what books people think it needs to include

@orekix @hakui @nerthos @nyx it's not a curating system, it's how i exclude books not how i pick them

@orekix @hakui @nerthos @nyx amazon reviews are too positive so i don't use them, on goodreads i'm more likely to know if a book is shitty
