@Placholdr @shibao because of the strength of its highly prescriptive and specific dogma limiting understanding of both god and man. at least islam has sufism christian mysticism has a bad track record of being persecuted or cult shit

@Placholdr the trinity is abomination. original sin is too, and sole fide with eternal damnation for nonbelievers. bad metaphysics, bad soteriology. jesus's ethical teachings were very important and christian deism was too but the stripping of the cringe from the ethical teachings has directly become secular humanism. i wish the teachings about works and about the kingdom of god being within you and not in heaven were emphasized instead of the weird dualism mystery religion of paul. orthodox christian tantra is a beautiful bhakti when done right but like its so mentally limiting to people. oh so god does have an avatar, but only one? worst of both worlds, lame as hell.
