It's like the epitome of everything wrong with gaming rn

-Like 8 years of development hell and 200-300m $
-Trend chasing live service game garbage that came from Overwatch's success, way, way too fucking late way after these games started to wane
-People are just overall noticing as of late that these kinda live service games are extremely predatory. On top of that it's yet another full priced game that's supposed to be live service VS free to play
-Huge Marvel "Guardian of the Galaxy" like clone years after it's relevant and Marvel shit are failing left and right and everyone is tired of this shit
-Characters were obviously beaten with the DEI stick at Sony. Characters literally have woke bios stories and pronouns on selection screen
-Which just comes after Sony attempting some shit with Helldivers 2 on Steam

@coolboymew @georgia @caekislove There's a cultural shift happening right before our eyes and these companies can either keep trying to paddle upstream or start adjusting to the direction things are going. Cultural shifts as far as decades go happen on the third year of the decade, at least in the US. Wokism is looking like it was 2010s culture and everyone's moving on. I don't know what the 2020s will look like yet but it's not that.

@meowski @caekislove Eventually the morale of the people who run these studios will break and they'll start to have the same kind of recruitment problems the US Military does. Constant failure will destroy a persons will, especially if they are weak willed to begin with.
