@georgia i don't know, but practically the whole old testament is about the israelites disobeying God and there are plenty of verses about not doing sorcery. so if you really believe God is telling you to roll dice to make a random decision, i guess you can do it, but that doesn't negate all the other instructions

@meowski are people who see visions of the future evil? are people with prophetic dreams evil? divination is just that with tools. God wouldnt bless certain people with the sight if it were evil. And whether its witchcraft or not depends on the practitioner. Its white magic regardless.

people can have divine visions if God and spirits speak to them. i don't consider that witchcraft. games of chance lead to compulsive irrational behavior. it's like staring into the abyss. not divinely inspired. God speaks when he wants not when you want

@meowski If God didnt want to speak to the querent through divination then fortunetelling would never work. think about it. no one can force God to share His/Her infinite knowledge of the past, present, and future. Also myself ive had both prophetic dreams and done entirely accurate tarot/oracle spreads.

@georgia yea fortune telling doesn't work. it works on the weak minded like all witchcraft. that's what witchcraft is- mind tricks. they just say a bunch of vague stuff and maybe something sounds true then next thing you know, you're burying money in a secret location
