From the protests I've been seen coming out of Israel it seems many Israelis are finally starting to realize how much their own govt despises them. Half and half for me. I know Jewish people who 100% stand behind the state of Israel and will claim Israel gave x and y all these chances over all these decades.

I know others who can't stand the Israeli government and think the nation is an apartheid state. I knew an Australia Jew who burned his Israeli citizenship papers on stage at a rally in Melbourne back in 2012.

I'm not pro-Palestine. Sadly all the smart ones took all the deals that were offered in the 60s/70s and went off to other countries with a couple grand in Israeli (really US) money and permanent visas. Brazil took in a massive amount and has 3rd generation descendants there. All the people who are left are young and stubborn, and states like Jordan stopped taking them in during the 90s because they tended to launch attacks from the refugee camps. Many were easily manipulated by Mossad in those obviously Israeli funded Oct 7th attacks. I feel bad for them, but I understand why no one will take them in.

But Israel as a state has destroyed the entire region. Israel+US+UK+Turkey led to the massive ongoing bloodshed in Syria, and the IDF is quickly consuming land in the region. The Israeli government isn't causing a genocide. It's a full on holocaust. I don't blame the Israeli people. They're about as ignorant as most Americans in their nationalism.

If that's the direct combat losses, I'd guess counting the collaterals it's around 500k-1.5m which would put it at the highest a bit over the reported SS numbers and at lowest at the same level as realistic estimates of camp deaths.

Thats why there were large protests a few months ago over the Knesset simply debating on whether soldiers raping palestinian prisoners should be jailed. Don't misinterpret this as saying all or even most Israelis think this way but it is a significant movement in the country and part of why the situation is so fucked up. Pretending it doesn't exist gets us nowhere.

But, in the Gaza case, it is the Jews who are actively cutting off aid/food, which is available, and stuck in truck-convoys, which are not allowed in. In the Germany case, the "Allies" were the ones who destroyed the supply-lines.
