Qwen3-VL-30B-A3B-Instruct I think finally beats Gemma 3 when it comes to local small-model Computer Vision. Carefully quantized it fits entirely on a 3090.

Because it only Activates 3B Parameters at a time (WTF A3B means, took me a while to work out) it still works if you run it partially on a GPU and partially on a CPU.
