@georgia i prefer it that way tbh bc the alternative requires means testing, which opens like 50 other cans of worms and i dont want to imagine a world where we’re fighting over the limit for who should be allowed to have it for retirement and if it should adjust with inflation like the minimum wage. its already shitty enough for the people on disability

@georgia Social security is only not an atrocity when literally every citizen that's not a convicted criminal gets it. It can only be justified under those terms, an actual common good for the nation.
