@meowski hinduism has a Supreme Lord, known impersonally as unconditioned Brahman, and personally as Bhagavan or Ishvara. almost all modern hindu traditions are monotheistic in the sense that they regard lesser Gods as just higher beings kinda like angels or saints dispensing various functions, but only regard one being as possessing true infinitude, omnipotence, omniscience, splendor, glory, prowess, beauty, etc. the true distinction isnt polytheism vs monotheism its the monism in much of hindu thought, and the belief in the divinity of the soul.
