I used to have the jewish ick feeling when people talked about God incarnating as a man, which I reckon muslims have too. now I believe in the existence of multiple avataras as an important part of Gods maintenance of the universe out of love for all creatures.

I still get the ick from non-monist conceptions of God though, like trinitarianism, even though I can see it from the plain reading of especially John

@vic I read somewhere once that the Islamic world regards atheism with the same taboo as the west regards pedophilia although with epstein it may no longer be relevant

@georgia @vic Pedophilia remains just as taboo though, "elites" are about as detached from western sentiment and identity as a concubine in the chinese emperor's harem was from the rice farmers, and Epstein was a mossad asset working on reinforcing that detachment and gaining leverage on politicians and media figures.
Without the threat of violence by the state, the average westerner would treat pedophiles in the same way the average muslim treats atheists: beating and lynching. The only real difference is that in most muslim countries the state endorses civilians lynching atheists, while in most western countries the state jails civilians lynching pedophiles.
