@georgia ode to sun is an adaptation of a chinese myth to be about how the stories we tell help shape the behavior of our societies and how modern secular societies arent fundamentally different from their religious predecessors, strange as some stories might seem across time.
lichen here is a perversion of that who tells people stories as a cult leader to control them and gain personal power.
