lowkey bothers me how buddhists are so obsessed with the Buddha beyond reverence of a perfected person and teacher. like they even claim his body is auspicious and marked with auspicious signs. basically they treat him like an incarnation, but he wasnt one. but who knows maybe I'm motivated by jealousy because I dont have a weird special protrusion on the top of my skull.
