@georgia @luce-anon okay i had to think about this bc it lowkey gave me psychic damage. i dont think it’s technically wrong but it feels like a pretty heavy phrasal reconfiguration from how id think about it. also it implies universalism which is kinda neat ig??

@lizzie @luce-anon oh I guess the third paragraph is kinda universalist. I was more thinking youd balk at how it frames being worthy of Gods love as being a recipient of His holiness

@georgia @luce-anon its basically saying that God’s love for all things comes through the fact that the Logos is the fundamental truth of their being

@georgia @luce-anon funny enough, phrased as it is in the book, it gave me temporary psychic damage, but “being worthy of Gods love as being a recipient of His holiness” is basically in every episcopal eucharistic prayer. probably other traditions too but im most familiar with my own

@georgia @luce-anon “it is not “natural”” is anti-maximian propaganda but im still trying to figure out how i feel about maximus’s thoughts on nature anyway

@georgia @luce-anon i will say, if you remove that specific sentence about it not being right or natural, or add qualifications and say “it would not be right apart from God” it does become a permissible statement from a maximian perspective from what i know
