Just a reminder that the Israeli government does NOT give two shits about Christians, Jesus Christ, or the best interest of Christians at all.

@luce-anon definite agree about christian zionism being garbage and the state of israel committing atrocities but even more atrocities have been historically committed in the name of supercessionism by christians in their efforts to be the new jews. saying that actually "Israel" in the hebrew part of the bible just means "the church" is just replacing israelite tribalism with christian religious supremacism. God doesnt have a chosen people period, or a chosen religion. God graciously appears, with forms and without, in ways dear to worshippers and many scriptures are at least partly divinely inspired or written by very holy people. if every revealed religion accepted the divinity in other revealed religions the world would be a better place.

@georgia you have a good point. I'm super against how Christians have used faith to justify atrocities done against the Jewish people and frankly any other religion or people group. Christians should be pacifists and violence should only be used when literally all other options are attempted. My little rant was not well worded, sorry about that.

@luce-anon I mean its your religious belief that your religion is the true religion, youre allowed to have that belief. I believe my religion is *a* true religion, where it excels is in describing absolute reality and its relationship to the soul and the process of becoming holy, where christianity excels imo is describing Gods loving nature and its system of ethics towards humans (towards animals it leaves much to be desired). part of all this I agree is nonviolence.

@luce-anon a monist hinduism influenced by kashmir shaivism and the bhakti movement. I'm weird in that I consider jesus to be an avatara.

@luce-anon hinduism is very poorly understood in the west, and so is yoga. most hindus today are believers in "one God with many forms". for beginners I recommend eknath easwarans translation of the bhagavad gita and the upanishads.
