@genmaicha @georgia Same script and hindi tends to use a decent bit of sanskrit words depending on the context

@meeper @genmaicha sanskrit can be written in other scripts but yeah lol. hindi has a lot of sanskrit. but so for that matter do Marathi, Kannada, Tamil...

@genmaicha @georgia Also tangentially related but I once used google translate to generate sanskrit and it gave me hind lol

@meeper @genmaicha it bothers me how when I want an appellate with the word "one", like "beloved one" or whatever as in an individual it always gives me ekam. I dont want freaking ekam! but thats probably a quirk of english to any language.
