I know I say existence precedes essence but the true svabhava which is Brahman supercedes all anubhava (direct experience)

@georgia never paid attention but anubhava literally comes from anu (according to/after/proceeding) bhava (some sort of happening or being)

@georgia is svabhava or svabhaava (ie a with a dash on it, ie the aw in shawl or आ)

@meeper https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/svabhava

your use of svabhava is a common one. I use the advaita vedantic definition of svabhava, which is the same as the more widespread definition of svarupa meaning the essential nature is atman.

@meeper my usage is also in contrast to madhyamaka buddhism which accepts no true self or true nature
