@georgia I’ve been called slurs I would never use against anyone - or ever try to reclaim. Yet, I have no problem calling myself any combination of slurs I’ve received to ensure I am understood.

lillian@kokoro.garden@georgia most slur usage i encounter in person or have participated in has been slurs surrounding gender, sexuality, or mental ability, said by people in a demographic that "can reclaim" it, but where the actual motivation is just that it's a naughty word that's fun to say. i decided to stop doing this a while ago
but fully reclaimed slurs, ones which don't feel derogatory to me at all, like "queer," i will say
