the absolutely too long didnt read is that the implication is that a major reason why human brains take so long to mature after birth (~15 - 20 years) is because it allows learning complex social interactions and thus allow the creation of very complex social networks, which perhaps neanderthal brains lack as they grow faster to maturity than modern human brain organoids

which might also give extra hints on the causes and conditions required to understand neurological disorders of the social kind
