this is libshitty but I wish people didn't say they "need/want a lobotomy". lobotomy was a very brutal way to control the mentally different without actually improving their condition. it was one of the worst forms of violence ever perpetuated against the mentally ill and even the merely somewhat subversive. one of the last lobotomies was performed on a neurotypical fifteen year old boy just because of overblown behavioral issues. it honestly disgusts me.
