@Merc shackle bearers can devour each other with their shackles but they cannot shackle one another or themselves

@Merc she kinda is shackled already in a sense though? it mostly functions as a connection and she is connected to herself if you think about it 🧠. she does not have a mania infection so theres nothin in herself to manipulate though so it kinda couldnt do anything

@Merc her shackles can cause burns to others and her arms are really scarred so its a common headcanon that shes kinda fucking up her arms by using them but im not convinced tbh.

she actually makes shitty makeshift shackles out of the light of the illusory moon at one point which has interesting implications still kinda unexplained

@Merc theres some “lilith” entity on the other side of the illusory moon that refers to chief as her daughter at one point so that probably has to do with disembodied soul chief being able to make those shackles
