How do wignat Christians reconcile with the fact that Jesus was Jewish?

@subnetter usually what I hear is that jesus had nothing to do with today's jews because today's jews are descended from the pharisees/khazars/edomites/synogogue of satan. its a big cope but it makes me laugh how both wingnats and communist third worldists are committed to jews not being "true jews" somehow.

@georgia @subnetter i mean “today’s jews are descended from pharisees” isnt strictly wrong but also jesus was most affiliated with the pharisees so like i dont see how that actually helps their case anyway

@sun @georgia @subnetter i mean yeah he argued with them constantly. i think there is good reason for christians to be christians and not jewish. i do also think the common justifications for antisemitism among christians do not hold water.

@subnetter he came to reform the old law. that's what christianity is, reformed judaeism. and that's why they killed him. so although he was a jew, what he taught was a new way of thinking and a new interpretation. if you compare the old and new testament this is clear
