@VD15 @thisjayx @SuperDicq @ergo I dunno man, I've never had gravy. Here in Norway we typically just use straight meat juices (sjy) with minimal stuff added.
If we use a sauce it's a generic brown sauce, which is basically just a roux with no trace of meat.

We can make "Sjysaus" which is basically when you thicken it up with something to make a sauce, which I assume is the closest thing we have to gravy. But I don't think people actually make it that often, we mostly just "brunsaus" (lit. "Brown sauce") which is just a browned and thickened roux. Basically an espagnole, without adding any stock.
