@unmind my vote for disbelieve in self, believe in Self (which is utterly self-less). its similar to believing in Buddha-nature.

@georgia I thought Buddha-nature was different from Self, cuz otherwise wouldn't Buddhists just be Hindus? idk I don't really know enough but either path frankly to make comparisons or contrasts

@unmind Atman and the tathagatagarbha are different frameworks but they both describe a true essential nature of all beings that is supremely pure, immutable, blissful, and yes a "self". its very similar.
