@lizzie it's easy to read this as being about mystical obscurantism but the religions that do offer clear answers are so much incommensurably worse

@ophis im mostly just thinking about how complicated everything is. no worthwhile answer comes easy if it comes at all in any field. im very wary of those who act like clear answers exist in a religious context.

@georgia tbh an ocd friend’s worries about going to hell for killing a bug in her house and i thought about a bunch of other topics and ended up there. + i think a lot of oomf’s past struggles with religions come from how eager many religious groups are to take advantage of her need for clarity
