@lain @sanek protein powder smoothies, yoghurt, soup, bread soaked in said soup etc all work fine
my first real meal was actually french toast and poached eggs

@cell @lain Oh I've been eating nothing but yogurt, mashed potatoes and stuff like applesauce

The issue though is that both cheeks are swollen (because there was more to do than just getting those teeth out) so I can't even fully close my mouth, because if I do I take the risk of chewing my cheeks isaacdies

@sanek how old were you when you got them removed? I was 19 and it didnt hurt at all after (except the soreness from being intubated because they put me under)... I only took one vicodin and only because I was prescribed it, not because I was in pain.

@georgia I got them removed two days ago in fact isaacdies
Now it doesn't hurt as much as the first day, but both cheeks are still swollen which also makes it difficult to actually get some sleep and obviously eat anything

@sanek I heard that over time the roots of your third molars become more established and its more painful to get them removed. like with tonsilectomy.

@georgia Oh yeah one of them was kind of too close to the molars, heading right into the other teeth like a battering ram

@cell @lain Also because of how it's swollen (closer to the gums) it looks more like I'm mewing constantly

@cell @lain Only local anaesthesia, so I was awake, and the process was that bro was drilling holes into those teeth, then using those holes to use them as some kind of lever to break those teeth bits by bits (at least that's how it sounded like)

But the additional problem for me was that bro had to dig further into the cheeks/gums to remove some cysts meaning that it was extremely uncomfortable when he was getting too close to the nerves and molars
