@Junes @georgia oh yeah for sure, no worries. I have 3 generations of women before me to give me guidance on those sorts of things haha

I am looking for orchids but so far none :/

@georgia @Junes my visabuela on my mother's side is 96 but she walks just fine and is quite active and in good health. Most of the women in my family were young mother's.

Some have passed but most have lived to their late 90s and over, I have a great great uncle (my mom's great uncle?) over 100 who is still alive living somewhere in the forest making himself balm made out of wasps or some shit

@subnetter @Junes your great uncle sounds so cool. the women in my family live a long time too, usually over 100. my maternal great grandma lived to 106, although that number may be off because she was a refugee at a young age, her story is quite fascinating.

@georgia @Junes hopefully you got a chance to meet her ! It's super cool discussing history with elders

@subnetter @Junes I got a chance to meet her many times but I could never understand what she was saying due to her accent being impenetrable to me at the time
