its ironic to me that the nicenes anathematized the view of Jesus as being of a different hypostasis than God the Father, thus anathematizing the first form of "three hypostasis one God". they did this to combat arianism but the latin church of course would later on assert the doctrine of three hypostasis themselves, when the meaning of hypostasis was changed to mean something more like "entity" than "underlying essential reality".
