person who thinks theyre "pneumic" for being bored with or outright hating mundane reality, chooses to read philosophy that makes them worse. doesnt realize that if they saw Brahman in everyone and everything and everyone and everything in Brahman, they would be incomparably and endlessly happy.

@georgia@netzsphaere.xyz well at an state of oneness yes, pure bliss, but not in the refractions that we are of it.

I could spend my entire life on acid and call it a good life but, I would be also lying to some part of myself. Which is what I think some people fail to integrate is that the subjective experience that is the ego also is part of the Brahman, and it does suffer.

@sarvo youre comparing bliss free of delusion (free of the bounds of maya) to bliss caused by delusion (intoxicants, though I won't claim entheogens can't provide spiritual truth to some people)

@georgia @sarvo think of it this way. when you play a rpg or something is it more fun to have your PCs sit back and eat like. turkey drumsticks or potato chips or cthulhu cheez-its or is it more fun to have them risk their asses trying to fight (or seduce) the big beautiful bad guy (gender neutral)? obviously the insane adventure is more fun! so basically Brahman is playing a massively multiplayer roleplaying game while being the server, the players, the mods, the hackers and the YouTubers simultaneously

@georgia @sarvo like I have this... literary teratoma... of insane occult batshittery I've been adding to for the last ten years and it's filled with stuff like that. now that I regularly participate in the Eucharist I'm feeling compelled to go on another insane writing binge

@georgia @sarvo I don't think he's comparing it, he's just talking about the difference of philosophy of beauty words against the actual experience.

@georgia @sarvo just as suffering, fear, desire, anxiety, sadness and anything else exist within the Brahman.

@sathariel @sarvo Brahman is unfathomably perfect and beyond all qualities, parts, characteristics and steps, transcending space time and causality, even beyond the duality of being and non-being. and yet Ishvara does possess superlative qualities like omniscience, omnipotence, glory, splendor, beauty, etc. the prakritic matrix and its evolutes like suffering etc exist as pure potential within Brahman and then is expressed as the Universe when Ishvara wills it.
