So execs are thinking about just being software publishers. It’s never going to make a profit, and at the same time prevents purchases on their platform and they can’t sell on others. Right now they’re selling some former platform exclusives for PS5 and such as a test to see what they will do. They had to do a press conference to try to calm the public down.
It was fun trying to guess what was going on when MSFT engineers didn’t even know.
