mind blown tbh. i thought the universe being unreal was sankaras position. i knew that the vaisnavas and the tantrics believe it to be real. this is of course not to be confused with maya theory. many schools that believe the universe is real also believe in maya.

@georgia reality is perceived seems to be more apt and relevant than perception is reality. Do you believe thoughts are real for example? Dreams?
