there are a couple things that are definitely superior on xfce than kde, like application minimization and the ability to cycle through minimized apps, and their screenshot application (kdes is super overengineered)

@georgia I tried KDE plasma once and never looked back.
XFCE has never given me issues and is pretty much the same in all of my environments, minimal and fast. No extra blostware apps or extra fluff
I think there are only 1-2 KDE packages I would install manually because there isn't support for XFCE (no calendar tool for example)

@georgia itd be faster if my laptop fixes were included. my laptop fans can get louder if so, and the laptop overall is less hot while being faster
