is the I Ching a good read in and of itself or is it pretty much just used for divination and such?, ive only ever read a few pages so i dont really know if i wanna prioritize another time

@nyx mhm ive read the daodejing and im currently in the middle of the zhuangzi, both are physical copies. I would probably read the I Ching regardless in the future but idk how soon or far i want that to be

@GirlThingZenobia ah okay. I was just gonna say if you're interested to read those two first, although I haven't done anything with the I Ching. I gotta get myself a copy of it

@nyx fwiw i remember the substance of the I Ching was worthwhile, just that it takes a committed effort to utilize it properly, though i imagine it can also have a more philosophical reading too, compared to typicsl use as a tool

@nyx @GirlThingZenobia if youre into daoism the yijing book of changes is worth reading even if you dont divine. I use benebel wens translation I Ching, the Oracle.
