@georgia Iran agrees to stop blowing up buildings in the region, makes no other concessions, strait becomes a permanent 2 million yuan tollway, US diplomacy in the gulf is permanently ruined, and everything is more expensive for at least a year.

a) pretty much all of NATO wants nothing to do with it and already turned Trump down, and non-NATO powers will only respond with "lol, lmao even" since they have no beef whatsoever with Iran
b) the USA absolutely cannot win a land invasion of Iran, and if they tried, the caskets would pile up so high he'd probably get a revolt at home, vietnam war protests would look like pro-government rallies (and this would freak out Israel so badly that they'd use every blackmail and asset they have, because the USA collapsing in the middle of a hot war with Iran means Iran can simply move on Israel in retaliation as soon as the USA is in civil war, and they'll do the most of the chance, together with pretty much every other country in the region who wants payback)
c) nobody below 30 likes Israel in the first place, and those are the guys Trump needs to join the army (lol)
d) Iran isn't really a threat to anyone in the west, they don't have the means nor the weapons nor the inclination to invade anyone
e) both previous world wars were wars between great powers defending their own interests and land, and satellite states aligning with one or another out of necessity. The Epstein war serves no interest other than Israel's.
f) USA-aligned European countries already got shafted for free over Ukraine, they went into it against their own interests waiting for the USA to reward them, and ended up with an energy crisis, local political movements trying to do regime change, the USA telling them "lol it's your problem I want Greenland btw", and now Russia probably getting concessions from the USA since they can't fund the two wars at once.
All this war will accomplish will be either reinforcing Iran as a heroic regional power that survived invasion by all its enemies at once, or in case the USA uses WMDs on Iran, force every other power to stop pretending USA and Israel aren't rogue states that need dealing with before they get everyone else killed.
Either outcome will get rid of whatever control the USA had over global oil, that's already something that can't be reversed. It has also spent way more than Iran's GDP on achieving little other than convincing all of Iran that it's not the time to fight over who's in charge, it's time to wage a war of survival, whether the Ayatollah, a Shah or something else is better can wait until the missiles and bombers stop.
Ultimately all of this is good though, the middle east should be left alone to wage its traditional holy wars, no western blood should ever be shed taking sides.
