@georgia @icedquinn i think it's kind of all over the place in your head. your love, care and generosity should not mutate into acceptance of the oppressive and frankly anti-human idea of copyright.

@lain @icedquinn copyright sucks but when i get an indie deck it feels like recieving a present. they often include cards and other fun stuff too. i just don't want my questions for God mixed in with dishonoring an artist i really respect. its different for things like pdfs about science and religion which should be free for all. that's my personal opinion.

@georgia @icedquinn so if a bunch of people can't afford it it's okay, but if only you can't afford it it's bad? just get whatever copy you want. you can give whatever you want to the originator either way.

@lain @icedquinn mass market decks don't have their profits go mostly to the creator they go mostly to some corpo. not being able to afford it is not an issue for me with most decks except some out of print ones.

i've never printed cards, but i did typeset, print and bind the instruction manual for my linnstrument, so i've had a few things around that were self-made.
