– Mission failed –
Why is buying (choosing at a physical store) feminine clothes that look gender neutral so hard?
@lucy Not necessarily. I have an woman overall that I would consider gender neutral, so I was expecting to find “something” to have as an alternative. I wanted to approach the gender neutral style from the woman side of the shop, instead of from the man side of the shop, but it’s difficult when it’s “the wrong time of the year” (eg: I see lots of girls with cargo jeans… bought some months ago, when they were a trend. Now those aren’t available anywhere anymore)
@walnut That’s a really good skill to have!
– Round two: Mission accomplished –
Different day, different mood, different shops… and I found a pair of trousers and a coat (both from the woman part of the shop) that I liked enough. Yay!
(Saved by the bell for having decent clothes to enjoy 38c3 in the way I would like)
@Suguivy If you consider that these kind of trousers aren’t very common nowadays… the say still applies. Skirts, on the other hand, are a nightmare (or, when seen from a different perspective, are the perfect excuse to need a purse )
