@georgia @graf I also voted "no," I have no clue why it registers as "yes".

im thinking about this again georgia, and I'm really bothered that your instance didn't count my no. this could have saved a lot of heartache. can you tag me and ask me next time so I can give you my written vote?

I have one diced in my fridge actually, I bought it for a friends son when they were visiting overnight since I knew he liked them. Diced about half left, you are welcome to it but you have to make it to Toronto area.

yo even refreshing it still shows 0 and I checked poast database and it shows 1* yes and 1 no. to us pleroma FE shows 1 vote on poast

I'm going to look further into this because this is fucked up. I know there were changes made to fetch the poll count from the originating instance, @phnt have you seen this? Database shows 2* (misread) votes, soapbox shows one, nicoilum (where I voted) correctly shows 1 votes yes and one vote no (mine) but the vote isn't shown in the vote tally bar, just that I voted for it. this is reflected properly in the DB

nicolium (formerly pl-fe) showing 2, it has the indicator check on my screen correctly identifying I voted no and it is marked in the database: https://beta.poa.st/@georgia@netzsphaere.xyz/posts/B58...

pleroma FE showing one: https://pl.poa.st/notice/B5BUN045SKbKDuquI4

soapbox also showing one: https://poa.st/notice/B5BUN045SKbKDuquI4

georgia is on Akkoma 3.15.2-0-g5bceb1d by the looks of the api response

I can only see one yes vote on your instance, how many does it show you?

gonna assume akkoma hides the totals and just provides the % then

I'm going to look into this more today, thanks for letting me dissect this

can you make another poll and maybe tag me and @phnt into it, I would appreciate it. will be easier to track. keep it public scope, can be about whatever doesnt matter. make it maybe a week, month, whatever. just make it long because I'm going to try a few things from a few instances

@graf @georgia I have two votes to "yes" and zero to "no" in my DB while zero actual federated poll answers:
select jsonb_pretty(data) from objects where data->>'inReplyTo' = 'https://netzsphaere.xyz/objects/bc3155ff-3627-4c8a-8d06-d3bb62c3a5c2';
returns only @georgia's reply to the poll. So the "persons voted count" shows zero, which is incorrect based on the answers, but a known issue. I don't know if that can be even fixed properly thanks to fedi being a mess.
