I've talked to maija for months on almost daily basis before the first big loli thread since I've joined on here which didn't make me cut contact almost completely. I actually tried to be somewhat "hey, you shouldn't support this, stop it" in that first thread iirc. You can look it up if you want. It's definitely in your DB since lucy followed me back then. And the reason why I was like that is because maija at that time was someone I somewhat cared about on the Internet, which is somewhat rare for me, mostly because of his mental state. I still remember our first interaction was while I was in a waiting room for my bi-annual checkup and maija was posting about self harm.

Couple months after the previous loli thread, he joined another one and that was the final breaking point for me and I've cut contact almost completely since then. At that time 7666 I think kicked maija out of comp.lain.la, but that might have been after the "first" thread. I don't remember it that clearly. And also since then maija has been a constant nuisance and annoyance for me due to his unpredictable image posting nature and also the fact that lolicon is technically illegal in Czechia after a single court ruling in 2024. His existence on here unchemoed (without media stripping) was an actual, but arguably slight, threat to me hosting this instance and getting partyvanned because of his questionable image posting habits and me operating a media proxy on fluffytail.org while also interacting with people that are known to provoke trigger-happy drive-by reporters (read: lgbt side of Mastodon)[1]. After the second loli thread is also the point where maija lost all my "respect" and stopped caring about him or his mental state. I tried to calm him when he had his panic/self-harm attacks, got burned once with the first loli thread, and after the second thread I didn't care at all anymore. I genuinely wish he would go away for good, but I also know that won't be the case even this time.

Only those that do not annoy me all the time deserve correct pronouns. Just like only people that you respect and are close to you are supposed to be called by their first names. Hence the trade offer meme above. I call others on here by their correct pronouns by default. The "don't annoy me" rule is basically the only rule I have with regards to talking to people anyway. I talk to almost anyone, if they don't annoy me.

I've apparently been doing that for months anyway. And in my eyes, it's deserved when almost every interaction I've had with maija after mostly cutting contact was arguing about how lolicon is actually legal in US. I'm sick and tired of his arguments and everyone like him. It makes my blood boil every time, which is also the reason why I went kinda hard on Arcana yesterday. I was genuinely angry that this shit popped up on my TL again, although it was kinda my fault by mentioning loli.church in the fediblock.

For online communities though, and especially for communities where offense or "harm" are considered a big deal, it's pretty much "while you're one of us you're afforded certain privileges/we look the other way" but if you're kicked out, you lose all that with prejudice and people will generally use the things they knew about you against you.

Tbh I barely differentiate between people based on sex or presentation .
