the idea that you can cause injury to a being seeking benefit for yourself (other than that for pure survival) and obtain beatitude thereby is so perverse. this is about the mimamsa school. in that regard historic Judaism is superior to the historic Vedic religion, because in historic Judaism you dont sacrifice to attain heaven. I'm not opposed to sacrifice done for Gods sake but sacrifice done purely for reward is a sin.
