@patchuun honestly I prefer dry heaving because theres no barf that comes out and the noxiousness of the taste and smell along with the texture of vomit is what really bothers me. honestly this may be an autism thing but the worst part for me is the texture especially if its grainy. dry heaving often hurts a lot though. I used to do it when I didnt eat before taking my skin antibiotics for acne as a child. at a certain point I just stopped the antibiotics course it was such a pain.

@georgia admittedly I'm probably biased because basically every experience I've had with dry heaving was at the tail end of a long string of serial vomiting which probaably made it extra painful

@patchuun oh that makes sense. yeah I did some dry heaving today between bouts of actual vomiting. particularly unpleasant was when the vomit didnt expel itself forcefully enough to leave my mouth and I had to spit it out >.<

@georgia Gotta keep the indigestion and poisoning away to prevent it. I puke maybe once every 2 years on average thanks to good diet and divine protection.
Definitely an autism thing on the vomit vs dry heaving though, puking isn't as aggressive on the body as dry heaving is.
