"shunyavadas and mayavadas btfo" i guess. here you see that many vaishnavas are like many christians who say "if you don't believe in a personal God, you aren't a monotheist and won't go to heaven". but of course, this isn't true. saguna brahman and nirguna brahman are both Brahman, Brahman is partless and non-dual. not being like human beings who are solely "personal" as well as comprising both sat and asat, sarva and shunya is simply part of what makes God so wonderful. but yes, its easier to reach God through bhakti of saguna brahman than through jnana of nirguna brahman.

@georgia i dont like it when people say you have to think of God the right way intellectually to worship Him. obviously nobody knows all things about God so who knows the right things about God to worship Him properly?

@lizzie as long as you don't think egregious things like that God loves human sacrifices, worshiping God and surrendering to Him is always a good thing, whether you're a monotheist, monist, polytheist, pantheist, panentheist, etc etc

@georgia yeah. i really truly believe God is Love. worship (or anything really! oriented towards love, towards the flourishing of others, and against death/the powers of this world is indeed worship.

@georgia spiritual death in the christian sense. physical death is okay but it is not the true death. death to the flesh is good but is truly life. spiritual death (sin) is not.

@georgia spiritual death does tie in to physical death since it often wields physical death as a weapon and so it manifests to the world as a force of physical death, but all temporal existence must have an end
