@georgia @morrigan there is definitely a lot of pain it is not for the faint of heart but it also is like a really fucked up soap opera with all sorts of crazy twists and turns and character drama. idk believe it or not (I don't blame you if you don't) I was never expecting to fall in love with this franchise but I totally did lol

@patchuun @georgia @morrigan yeah it really gets intense by SAW 3 but also torture porn is the point along with the plot, the traps are cleverly designed and gives hints as to who is actually running the game on any particular film
As for a horror recommendation, I always tell everyone to watch Martyrs. Maybe too extreme for some but it has a good balance for tasteful violence/plot ratio.

yeah he is pretty fucked up and horrible and for sure shouldn't be valorized, part of what makes him a compelling and truly scary villain to me
