(at least the current american administration took some inspiration from their methods, so maybe we get a replay)

@lain ironic that indian protectionism was against western competition, and now western protectionism is largely done against indian competition

@lain maybe so. but I already had to move out of my home state because outsourcing eliminated all the entry-level tech jobs, so I'm not sure that economic liberalism will save the west. maybe we're doomed either way...
