feeling like a boiled frog with the slow degradation of my ROMs capabilities after years of not updating (at first because updating version caused soft bricks, then because I just love my phone as it is)/due to proprietary garbage from google. first my app level backup stopped working, then my email client stopped working with gmail accounts, then my banking apps stopped working with the hacks I was using to use them with a rooted phone, and now my phone SIM card isnt working despite "showing bars". however, today I realized that my app level backup works again, so hooray for me! the only real pain in the ass among the aforementioned is no data... gotta fix that...
