if you read the brahma sutras and got nothing out of them its because youre supposed to use a commentary and also youre supposed to have studied the upanishads (and ideally the main hindu philosophies as well). much of it just exists to clarify parts of the upanishads that arent clear and to rebut interpretations from schools that arent vedanta.

the bhagavad gita a new translation really hits the mark where all those doctrine-heavy gitas miss. dont like how they call Brahman "world-ground" though

many think that God cannot have forms but that He does have names. of course, names are just like forms, indicating qualities. and God is both with and without qualities, nameless and formless, but with auspicious forms and names.

my webcam toggle cover thing is not very good, it often moves around. i wish there were a proper locking switch i could stick on there. might have to make do with some electrical tape.
